The Amplify search feature offers several additional options for navigation. Using it is particularly useful when you don't know where to find something in the hierarchy, or even if it exists.
Open search by clicking the search button in the side menu, or by pressing / on your keyboard. |
Typing into the search bar searches the entire instance for anything matching what you type. In a large instance, results can take a little longer to appear. Matching text is highlighted in the results.
Note — search matches only item names and IDs.
Other ways to find items
Alongside typed search, the search panel has three tabs for browsing without typing:
- Recently Visited — displays the 5 most recent items you've visited.
- Favourites — displays a list of the pages you've bookmarked as favourites.
- Shared Teams — displays all of the shared teams you've been assigned to.
