A program is structured as Program → Reporting Group → Project. Once a project exists within a program, several other kinds of item can be added to it. Which of these are available depends on what's been enabled for the program in its Configuration.
Projects
Projects are the functional level of a program — the level where these items are created and managed. Projects are grouped into reporting groups within the program.
Items you can add to a project
Once enabled for the program, each of these can be created and managed at the project level:
- Benefits — positive or negative impacts to the business resulting from the project.
- Costs — budget, actuals, and forecast implementation costs for the project.
- RAID and Action Items — the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for the project, along with any action items raised against them.
- Goals — achievement targets for the program that the project contributes toward.
- Tasks — the day-to-day actions and milestones that make up the project's schedule.
- Resources — the people, skills, or assets needed to deliver the project.
For the program's other optional settings, including Documents, see Program Features.
