Status thresholds decide when an Amplify Index score shows as green, amber, or red, and the label shown with each color. They're set under Administration > Status Thresholds, and one set applies to the whole instance, so changing them recolors every score at once.
This article covers both the Advanced and Simple Models, and needs administrator access, or an admin role with access to Status Thresholds — see Admin Roles.
Note Status thresholds need the Amplify Index to be turned on, with Enable Amplify Index under Administration > Site Settings. See Site Settings.
How scores are colored
Each score is compared with the Red Percentage and the Amber Percentage:
- Red — the score is below the Red Percentage. This includes negative scores.
- Amber — the score is at or above the Red Percentage, but below the Amber Percentage.
- Green — the score is at or above the Amber Percentage. This includes scores above 100.
For example, with an Amber Percentage of 85 and a Red Percentage of 70, a score of 90 is green, 75 is amber, and 60 is red. A score of exactly 85 is green, and exactly 70 is amber.
Threshold settings
- Green Status, Amber Status, and Red Status — the label shown with each color, such as On Track, Needs Attention, and Action Required. Each label is required.
- Amber Percentage — where amber ends and green begins. It must be greater than the Red Percentage, and can be no higher than 99.
- Red Percentage — where red ends and amber begins. It must be lower than the Amber Percentage, and can be no lower than 0.
- Green Percentage — shown as everything above the Amber Percentage. It can't be set itself.
