The card view shows each item in a register as a card, with its key details — such as dates, stage, and progress — at a glance. It's the quickest way to scan a register, and the place to find, restore, and delete archived items.
This article covers both the Advanced and Simple Models. For the other ways to view a register, see Register Views.
Filtering and sorting cards
Use the filter and sorting options above the cards to narrow and order them.
The card layout
While the exact fields differ by item type, each card follows a similar layout, with key information about the item's current status, and links to other pages where the item can be viewed.
Working with items on cards
Edit and archive — edit or archive an item directly from its card. |
|
Archive — shows the items that have been archived, in place of the live ones. |
|
Restore and delete — on an archived item's card, restore it to active use, or permanently delete it. |
To find archived items alongside live ones in a table instead, see Table View.
Saved views
The card view uses the same saved views as the table view of the register — see Table View for what a view stores. A view also records whether the register opens as cards or as a table. To have the register open as cards, use Save card view as default. For saving, sharing, and managing views, see Register Views.
