Schedule: Date selector and links to dashboards

Improvements to the Date Selector

When you activate the start date or end date, the calendar gets the focus. You can pick a date from the calendar. However, it was not possible to edit in the cell directly.  Our solution will make the cell active for direct editing without impacting the click response of the calendar.

Additionally, the calendar will show a month and year selector which means instead of panning through many months of dates to select a far-off date, you can select it directly.

Links to Dashboards from Gantt

Links have been added to risks, benefits and child projects on the Gantt using which you can easily navigate the corresponding dashboard.

Data Validations in Translations Feature

We received a few support issues with root cause attributing to interpolations in translation strings with custom values. The interpolations used in default translation strings, values within % and { }, are predefined and should be used as-is to prevent unsolicited errors. To learn more, click here.

We now prevent users from adding custom values in place of predefined interpolations.

If the interpolation used in custom translations is incorrect, you'll see an informative message that will tell you the correct format.

Get answers promptly using our context-sensitive help feature. This version features a Help widget within the application, displaying links to knowledge base pages relevant for your current context.  It also has a search field to help you find articles.
