New Features
Stage Gate Workflows
Conditional Workflow Steps Based on Single Select Fields
Following our updates from Release 26.4, We've added support for Initiative-mapped Select, Radio, and Traffic Light custom fields to conditional approval steps.
Admins can configure workflow steps to trigger only when set field values match the pre-defined criteria, such as when a Traffic Light is a certain colour, or when a Select Field is a certain value.
The result is an even more intelligent and streamlined governance process, maintaining compliance while removing friction from everyday workflow execution.
Reporting Dashboard
View Benefits and Costs Together on the Reporting Dashboard
See the full financial picture of your initiatives in one place.
You can now view Costs and Financial Benefits side by side in the Reporting Dashboard using the new “All” Type filter. This allows you to understand an initiatives total financial impact without jumping between different views or tools.
With a single, combined view, you can quickly assess value versus spend and make more informed decisions with confidence.
To get started, make sure your Reporting Dashboard is configured on your Initiative Classification — for a reminder on configuring dashboards here: Configuring The Reporting Dashboard
Enhancements
Benefits, Measures, and Costs
Streamlined Create and Edit Experience
Creating and editing Benefits, Measures, and Costs is now easier and faster.
An update to the Create and Edit experience for these key entities moves existing properties and custom fields into more logical groupings which help users understand the key data required for creation and which data is supplementary.
This means users will be able to create Benefits, Measures, and Costs faster, while simultaneously improving initial data-capture during creation.
Add a Description and Initial Budget for Costs
Add more context to your costs and get budgets set up faster from the start.
You can now capture the detail behind each cost using a new Cost Description field, making it easier to understand what’s being spent and why. This helps bring costs closer in line with benefits, giving you a more complete financial picture.
A new Initial Budget Value field also lets you define a starting budget as you create a cost, streamlining setup and reducing the need for follow-up edits.
With clearer cost context and quicker budget creation, you can spend less time setting things up and more time making informed decisions.
Initiatives
Initiative Description Now Supports Markdown
Write richer, more expressive Initiative descriptions with support for Markdown formatting.
You can now use Markdown in the Description field to add structure and clarity - making it easier than ever to communicate intent and context directly within your initiatives.
Your formatting will carry through and render consistently across all key areas of the product (outside of tables), so what you write is what others see with no extra effort required.
With clearer, more structured descriptions, you can make your initiatives easier to scan, understand, and act on.
Custom Field Visibility
Toggle Between Required and All Additional Fields on Create/Edit
See what matters most, reduce the noise.
The Additional Fields sections on Create and Edit are now only expanded by default if required custom fields are mapped to the classification. The section also now includes a ‘Show All’ toggle that you can enable to display all custom fields.
This allows users to streamline their create experience by narrowing the displayed fields to those that matter most without removing the ability to give additional detail.
