New Features
Status Reporting
Automated Status Updates
Set up status update requests once, and let Amplify handle the rest on a recurring schedule.
Status update requests can now be automated. Instead of manually requesting an update from every relevant Initiative each week or month, you can set up an automated status update once, defining how often updates are requested, e.g. weekly or monthly, and which Initiatives should provide updates, based on filters
From there, Amplify handles requesting the updates on that schedule going forward.
π‘ This means teams with structured status-update cadences no longer need to manually chase updates from a list of Initiatives every cycle β it happens automatically based on filters set up once.
Amplify Intelligence
Organization Context for Amplify Intelligence BETA
π§ͺ Amplify Intelligence (Ask Amplify) is in Beta. Please reach out of you are interested β we'd love your feedback before it becomes generally available. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to share your thoughts.
Ask Amplify now responds with your organization's own context in mind, not generic reasoning.
Amplify Intelligence now factors in your organization's context β its structure, terminology, and active initiatives.
A new Business Context field, available under Administration, lets you describe your organization and the industry you operate in.
π‘ This means Ask Amplify can provide more tailored, relevant responses and recommendations for your organization.
Resource Management
Track Resource Capacity in Days
Track resourcing in days instead of FTE, wherever it makes sense for your team.
Resource Management now supports tracking capacity in Days as an alternative to FTE, including automatically converting FTE to days. This extends across:
- Planned Capacity dashboards
- Resource Demand
- Scenario Planner
- and more
π‘ This means organizations that think in days rather than FTE now have a resourcing model that matches how they actually plan and staff work.
Β
Enhancements
Hierarchy Governance
Apply Confidential Flag from the Page Header
Mark anything confidential from wherever you're already working.
You can now apply or remove the Confidential flag directly from the page header across all pages on an Initiative, rather than needing to navigate to a specific screen.
π‘ This means marking sensitive work as confidential is quicker and more consistent, wherever you are in the Initiative.
Benefits & Data Entry
Approval Comments on Timeline Entries
See the context behind an approval decision without leaving the timeline.
Comments made during approvals β for Benefit Plan, Forecast, and Actual values β are now visible directly on the relevant timeline entries.
π‘ This means the context behind an approval, rejection, or measurement update is easier to find, without digging through notifications or to-do items.
Series Values & Legends on the Benefit Plan Tab
See exactly what each line and bar represents, right from the sidesheet.
The Benefit Plan sidesheet's Realization graph now displays series legends and values, matching the behaviour already available on the Benefit Plan details page.
π‘ This means the same clear, labeled view of Baseline, Plan, Forecast, and Actual is available whether you're working from the sidesheet or the details page.
Costs
Baseline on Cost Ledger and Cost Table
Compare cost actuals and forecasts against your baselined plan.
Baseline data, already available for Benefits, is now available for Costs too. A Cost Baseline series can be added to the Cost Ledger's filters, and Baseline is now available as a column on the Cost Table.
π‘ This means you can compare cost actuals and forecasts against an original plan with the same consistency you already have for Benefits.
Goals
Goal Creation & Edit Updates
A more familiar, consistent way to create and edit Goals.
The Goal creation side sheet and edit flow have been updated for clarity and consistency with other creation flows across Amplify.
π‘ This means creating and editing Goals feels more familiar and predictable.
Tasks
Merge Tasks and Taskboard into One Page BETA
π§ͺ This feature is in Beta and needs to be enabled manually for your organization. If you're interested in participating in the beta, reach out to your Customer Success Manager to have it enabled in your sandbox environment for testing.
Tasks and Kanban, together in one place.
Tasks and Kanban are no longer split across two separate pages. They're now combined into a single Tasks page, with Table and Kanban as switchable views of the same data.
π‘ This means less fragmentation between task views and a more consistent task management experience.
Quick Create
Quick Create Button Visibility
A cleaner interface for users without create permissions.
The Quick Create button now hides automatically for users who don't have permission to take any create actions.
π‘ This means a cleaner interface for users without create access, and fewer dead-end clicks.
Delivery Threats
Delivery Threat Widgets Data Source Update
Delivery Threat widgets that always match the underlying data.
Delivery Threat UI widgets now pull directly from the Delivery Threats table, keeping widgets and the table in sync.
π‘ This means the numbers you see in Delivery Threat widgets always match the underlying table.
RAID
RAID Item Classification Data Retention Fix
Cleaner RAID data when classification types change.
Changing a RAID item's classification type no longer retains non-conforming data from the previous classification.
π‘ This means your RAID data stays clean and accurate when classification types change.
Views
Standard View Configurations
Registers that always have a working view to fall back on.
Out-of-the-box standard view configurations are now offered as fallbacks, with safeguards to prevent removing the last shared view from a register. A silent fallback view has also been introduced as an added contingency.
π‘ This means you're far less likely to land on a register with no view available to load the table.
Status Reporting
Manage Status Updates: Consolidated Listing Page
Find any status update in one consolidated list.
The Manage Status Updates page has been restructured into a single, consolidated listing β no more clicking through multiple pages to find a given status update.
π‘ This means finding and managing report groups, periods, and reports is faster and more intuitive.
