New Features
Tasks
Filters on the To Do List
Filter your To Do list to find exactly what needs your attention right now.
The To Do list β on both the Home page and the side sheet β now includes fast filtering. Filter by type (Approvals, Measures, RAID Items, Status Updates, Tasks, Timesheets), search by item or type name, or use due-date quick filters like Overdue, This Month, or Next 90 Days.
π‘ This means you can zero in on what needs action today instead of scrolling through a long, unsorted list.
Governance & Registers
Stage Status Column & Filter on Initiative Register
See at a glance which initiatives are stuck in approval β and why.
A new Stage Status column and filter is now available across the Initiative, Benefit, Cost, Resource Demand, and RAID registers, showing whether an item's current stage is In Progress, Pending Approval, Rejected, Approved, or has no stage-gate process at all.
Filter straight to items that are Pending Approval or Rejected to find what needs action fastest.
π‘ This means you can spot exactly which initiatives are stuck in a stage-gate approval, and why, without opening each one individually.
Benefits
Bowler Chart: Colour-Coded Variance for Benefits
Spot which Benefits are off track before you dig into the numbers.
A new Bowler Chart on the Benefit ledger colour-codes each Actual value Green, Amber, or Red based on its variance from Plan.
Admins configure the variance direction and thresholds per Benefit Classification β choosing whether Higher Is Better, Lower Is Better, or On Target counts as favourable, and setting the On Track, At Risk, and Off Track bands that drive the colour coding.
π‘ This means reviewers can spot at-risk Benefits at a glance during status meetings, instead of scanning raw numbers to find the ones that need attention.
Weekly Benefit Tracking
π§ This feature needs to be enabled for your organization. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager if you'd like Weekly Benefit Tracking turned on for your organization.
Track Benefits on a weekly cadence instead of waiting for month-end.
Benefits that are otherwise tracked monthly can now be enabled for weekly time-phased entry, surfacing leading and lagging indicators on a shorter timeframe than a monthly view allows.
π‘ This means teams tracking fast-moving Benefits get a more responsive read on performance, instead of waiting until month-end to see a trend emerge.
Program Model
Program Model Properties Get the Advanced Model Treatment
Program Model admins get the same control over custom fields as Advanced Model.
The Program Model's Properties page β where its custom fields are managed β now matches the UI and functionality of the Advanced Model's Properties tab.
The key addition: Program Model admins can now control whether a custom field appears on the Create form, the same control Advanced Model admins already had.
π‘ This means Program Model clients get direct control over their intake forms without needing to raise a support request, and admins managing both model types get one consistent experience.
Amplify Intelligence & Integrations
MCP Read Access for Amplify BETA
π§ͺ This feature is in Beta and needs to be enabled manually for your organization. If you're interested in participating in the beta, reach out to your Customer Success Manager to have it enabled in your sandbox environment for testing.
Your own AI assistant will soon be able to answer questions using your Amplify data.
This release ships the foundational authorization layer that powers a secure login flow for MCP-compatible AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot to connect to Amplify.
Once MCP Read Access itself is enabled, every response an AI assistant gives will be scoped to exactly what the requesting user's role and permissions allow β nothing more.
π‘ This means you'll be able to ask your own AI assistant questions about your Amplify data directly, without switching context, while your organization's existing permissions and access controls stay fully enforced.
Β
Enhancements
Benefits & Data Entry
Settings Dropdown on Ledger Views
Control which value and total columns show on a Ledger view β without toggling each one individually.
A new settings dropdown on Ledger views lets you choose which value and total columns display β for example quarterly, yearly, or grand total columns β as a single choice.
π‘ This means managing what a saved Ledger view displays is much faster, especially for views spanning many periods.
Choose Whether a Scheduled Baseline Becomes Active
Take a point-in-time baseline snapshot without disrupting what everyone else sees as current.
Scheduled Initiative Baselines previously always became the active baseline automatically. A new setting lets a scheduled baseline snapshot skip that step, so it doesn't overwrite the active baseline used for live comparisons across the app.
π‘ This means you can keep a scheduled record for later reference without affecting current reporting for everyone else β no manual workaround required.
Clearer Visual Cues for Non-Editable Values
Know at a glance whether a table cell can be edited, before you click into it.
It's now more visually obvious across tables when a cell can't be edited β calculated custom fields, Advanced Benefit time-phased data driven by Measures, values you only have read access to, and values locked due to approval all now read clearly as non-editable, rather than looking like an editable cell.
Number fields in these tables have also been right-aligned for more standard, scannable formatting.
π‘ This means less guesswork clicking into a table cell only to find it's locked, and tables that are faster to scan at a glance.
Tasks
Task Details Included in Upcoming & Overdue Email Notifications
See exactly which Tasks need attention, right from your inbox.
The Upcoming & Overdue Tasks email notification now lists up to 10 Overdue and 10 Upcoming Tasks directly in the email body, so you can scan what needs action β including urgent Tasks β without opening Amplify first.
π‘ This means one less step to see what's due: the detail you need is right there in the notification.
Status Reporting
Status Report Wording Aligned with Stage Status
Clearer status labels that reflect what's actually happening.
The "Not Submitted" status label has been renamed to "In Progress" across Status Report Approvals β in the Manage Status Updates table, the Status Update table, and email notifications.
This release also extends the alert icon that flags when an approval has no assigned approvers to Status Report, Item, and Resource Demand approvals, so a stuck approval with nobody assigned to review it is easy to spot across every approval workflow, not just stage gates.
π‘ This means anyone reviewing status no longer has to guess whether "Not Submitted" means no work has started or a report is simply underway β and a missing approver is now impossible to miss, no matter which approval step it's stuck in.
Trust & Security
SAML Auto-Provisioned Guest Access for Initiative Submission
Give unrecognised visitors Guest access via SSO, without extra SAML configuration.
A new, independent setting lets unrecognised visitors who arrive via the Initiative Submission link get auto-created as a Guest through SSO β without needing to configure or pass any extra SAML attribute.
It's a new checkbox, separate from the existing create user SAML setting β turning it on doesn't change that setting. If standard create user setting is already enabled, it takes precedence, and you'll simply choose whether new arrivals should be created as a Guest or a Standard User.
π‘ This means large enterprises that can't easily add custom user or group attributes to their SAML Identity Provider get a fast, low-configuration way to grant Guest access to submission-only visitors.
Teams
Natural Sort Order for Shared Teams
Shared Team lists now sort the way you'd expect.
Shared Teams in the Team dropdown and the Add Shared Team side sheet now sort in natural order (1, 2, ... 10) instead of by creation date, which previously produced orderings like 1, 10, 2.
π‘ This means long Shared Team lists β especially double-digit or larger β are easier to scan and select from correctly.
Resource Management
Resource GET API Respects Resource Unit Setting
API responses now match whatever Resource Unit you've configured in Amplify.
Following the introduction of Days as a Resource unit, the Resource GET API now surfaces your configured Resource Unit setting in its response instead of assuming a fixed unit.
π‘ This means teams building reports or integrations on top of the Resource API get numbers that match what's shown on-screen in Amplify, avoiding unit-mismatch errors downstream.
