The Administration > Overview page summarizes your organization's Amplify: how many users and items it has, its license, and how it's set up. It also has a few actions that affect the whole instance, such as recalculating statistics. It's the first page under Administration.
This article covers both the Advanced and Simple Models. Every administrator can view the Overview page, including those with an admin role that gives them no other areas. Its actions need access to Site Settings — see Admin Roles.
Stats
Stats counts what's in your Amplify. Archived items, and users who can't sign in, aren't counted.
- Licensed Users — active users who use a license, and any users of the reporting API. Locked users and guest users aren't counted. The Amplify Owner user is counted, as it's an active user.
- Guest Users — active guest users, including locked ones. Shown where Initiative Submissions is turned on. See Guest Users.
- Initiatives — active initiatives, at every level of the hierarchy.
- Benefits — active benefits.
- Measures — active measures.
For managing users, and how they count toward your license, see Managing Users.
Configuration
Configuration shows how your Amplify is set up:
- License Information — when your license expires, and how many users it allows. Where the license can't be read, N/A is shown. Compare the number it allows with Licensed Users, under Stats. For more on your license, see Amplify License.
- Units — the measurement units set up for benefits and measures. See Measurement Units.
- Team Member Roles — the team roles set up for the whole instance. Roles created within Simple Model programs aren't listed. See Team Roles.
- Currency Rollup — how large values are shortened across Amplify, with examples from 0 to very large numbers — for example, whether 123,456 is shown in thousands.
- Version — the version of Amplify your organization is using. It's useful when contacting support.
Actions
The Overview page's actions change how the whole instance works, so they need access to Site Settings.
Recalculating statistics
Where values on dashboards or registers aren't as expected, recalculating Amplify's statistics may correct them. To recalculate them:
- Navigate to Administration > Overview.
- Under Recalculate Statistics, click Recalculate statistics.
The recalculation runs in the background, and can take some time where there's a lot of data.
Turning on NPV statistics
The NPV Dashboard needs NPV statistics to be calculated. To turn them on:
- Navigate to Administration > Overview.
- Under Enable NPV Stats Calculation, check Enable NPV Stats.
- Click Save & Calculate NPV Stats.
Saving NPV statistics restarts Amplify. Do it outside working hours where you can.
Turning NPV statistics on recalculates every active initiative, in the background. See NPV Dashboard.
Allow Benefit classifications to be modified
Allow Benefit classifications to be modified shows a classification selector on the form for editing a benefit. It's a transitional setting, due to be removed in a future release. Leave it as it is unless Amplify-Now advises otherwise.
For the settings that apply across the whole instance, see Site Settings.
