As a continuation of Release 23.6 and it's theme of maximizing resource efficiency, we have taken a customer centric view to improving the usability of Amplify with the following minor updates.
Properties
- Updated order of sections under Properties, with Goals and Scenarios moved to the top of the page to improve visibility of important information
- Made Properties fields 2/3 width and Status reporting indicators 1/3 width to make better use of page real estate
- Removed save notification from displaying when there has been no changes to an input field
- Added the ability to mark the initiative as ‘Complete’ from the Properties page
Goals Dashboard
- Updated cards above the graph to show:
- Difference between ‘Planned’ and ‘Target’
- Difference between ‘Forecast’ and ‘Target’
- Difference between ‘Forecast’ and ‘Plan’
- Added ‘Forecast FY’ column to the table
- Added ‘Variance’ column to the table that displays difference between Plan and Forecast
- Removed ‘Total Plan’ column from the table
Performance Dashboard
- Add links to relevant registers on pie graph widgets to give the user a pathway to drilldown further for more information
- Pending approvals widget changes:
- Added new column which shows how many days approval has been pending
- Order of items is now oldest to newest pending approvals
- Delivery threats widget changes:
- Grouped items by initiative based on:
- Status (High to Low). If the status is the same, then:
- Number of threats (highest to lowest). If both status and number of threats are the same, then:
- Initiative end date (soonest to latest)
- 10 delivery threats would display by default under each initiative group, with a ‘Load more’ button to view addition items
- Depending on the level of the hierarchy being viewed, the performance dashboard will filter the list on initiatives accordingly. For example, a user viewing the Performance dashboard on the Program level, would only see threats directly associated with this level or lower-level initiatives
- Grouped items by initiative based on:
Value Dashboard
- Performance & loading improvements:
- Phased the loading of the page so that the graph loads first and then the table to ensure that information is displayed as soon as possible to the user
- Display a loading indicator within graph and table, so a user isn't mistaken for thinking there is either no data or that the page is broken
- Added a success notification when a view has been created or edited
- Moved graph display options from standalone ‘cog’ icon to Filter
Global Navigation
- Added the word ‘New’ to the quick create menu in the top navigation bar to make the intended use of this button clear to the user
