Amplify Index Change Request

Hi Team,

 Is it possible to add a toggle for the Amplify Index that would allow clients to turn the feature off/on/. We have had several clients inquire about removing the Amplify Index due to not using it. The change would essentially allow the Amplify Index to be hidden from the instance.
