cyclic dependencies
Not plannedWhen viewing a work plan with cyclic dependencies the pop-up box prevents you from viewing the work plan and cannot be dismissed. We require this box to be dismissable to allow us to view work plans even if there are cyclic dependencies.
For background, we have cyclic dependencies as teams are not selecting task and instead only functions when creating on dependencies. The teams feel there are too many tasks in order to reliably select one at any given time and, the ability to select "no given task" seems to validate that this is an appropriate approach.
We would very much like to see, at the minimum, the dismissal of this warning as an option in the October release.

Hi Nathan,
It sounds like the dependency workflow might help in this situation, here is a link to the feature documentation https://amplify-now.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043958394-Managing-Dependencies, let me know what you think.
With regards to the cyclic dependencies, unfortunately we are unable to support them. The Gantt processes the tasks and their dependencies in order to apply constraints in automatic scheduling, to compute summary progress as well as the basic layout of the schedule.
Cyclic dependencies cause those processes to fail. We're able to detect them and present the dialog so that the user has the opportunity to resolve these constraints and continue to use the schedule. Unfortunately we're unable to resolve the underlying issues.
