How do I archive or restore goals?

When you need to delete an archive, you can archive it or remove it permanently.  An archived goal cannot be used as an object on a benefits map. To make it active again, you can use the Restore function. The Delete function allows you to permanently remove the goal.

To archive a goal:

1. Navigate to the initiative and select the Properties tab.
2. Scroll down to the Goals Panel.
   
3. Locate the goal that you want to archive and click on the Archive "bin" icon.
4. Click on the Confirm button in the dialogue box that displays.

The goal will no longer display in the Goals panel and is available to be permanently deleted if required. You can also restore an archived goal.

To restore an archived goal:

1. Select the Include Archived Goals option.
   This will reveal the goals that are currently in archived status.
   
2. Locate the goal that you want to restore.
3. Click on the name link. 
   This will open the Goals dashboard.
   A banner will display at the top of the screen showing buttons to delete or restore the goal.
   
4. Click on the Restore button to make the goal active again.

To remove an archived goal from the system:

1. Select the Include Archived Goals option.
   This will reveal the goals that are currently in archived status.
2. Click on the Delete "trash can" icon.
   
   
3. Click on the Confirm button in the dialogue box that displays.
   You have now removed the goal from the system.
