Amplify allows for Costs to be categorised by a configurable set of Cost Categories. The categorised cost breakdown can then be explored using the Value Dashboard or analysed using the Amplify reporting templates.
As with much of your Initiative Dashboard options, Costs must be enabled in your Administrator Settings, as would be your Cost Categories.
The total Costs for an initiative are made up of the Cost of the initiative itself and all its sub-initiatives. The table below the chart on the Value Dashboard shows all sub initiatives that contribute to the total cost. The total costs of the Initiative are also used to calculate the NPV and ROI.
To see individual cost profiles, you will need to navigate to the pertinent initiative and access the Cost Dashboard.
You can enter the cost values in the data entry fields.
