Amplify's default Dependency workflow is designed to breathe life into your task dependency definitions. This workflow displays an alert on every participating user's home page every time a dependency is created. To put this workflow into action, enable it and then specify the key participating roles, if necessary. If you do not select specific roles, Amplify will use the Dependency Manager role as the only workflow approver.
- Select the Workflows tab from the Administration menu.
- Scroll down to Dependency Workflow.
- Click on the toggle button to enable the workflow.
- Select the approval roles and specify the keyword to be used to indicate Approved, Pending, and Rejected statuses on your interface.
- Click Save.
Notifications
Depending on the workflow, multiple users can receive notifications about the dependency activity. See the table below for who will receive what notification:
