The Amplify Program model allows you to organise your enterprise portfolio into two levels: programs and projects.
A Program may be defined as a top-level master project or initiative which groups together many related projects.
Projects contain a series of tasks required to be completed to achieve a goal. Program and project would be the two main objects used to represent your enterprise's relational hierarchy.
Any further organisational grouping within the program will be captured as positional attributes of the project.
The other objects you would utilise in your Program are: Impacts (Benefits), Costs, Tasks, and RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).

When you implement the Program model, you can take advantage of the following key features:
Autonomy
Your enterprise portfolio may run multiple programs parallelly. Each program may not share the same targets, goals or even workflows and may need to be managed as individual entities within the enterprise. The program model allows having siloed configuration settings for unique programs allowing complete autonomy for your program.
Centralised Control
In the Amplify Program model, a Program acts as the container and the controlling unit of all projects. The overall control is available to a user with a particular role called the Program Administrator role.
Global Settings
Amplify's global Administration settings operate over and above all programs and facilitate centralised management of the whole setup. You can define and configure several global objects and parameters that can control and contribute to the programs' smooth operation within your Amplify system.
