What should I do if I want to use another mapping technique in the benefit map?

There are different mapping techniques available for use In the benefit map. These are:

• Amplify Technique
• Results chain
• MSP
• Dependency network
• Benefit logic map
• Investment logic map

When Amplify is installed one of these six mapping techniques is selected. This technique is used for every benefit map. When your organisation uses a different mapping technique, the administrator can enable another technique in mapping. This will show the columns in the benefit map that belong to the selected mapping technique.

When changing the technique, it's often the case that you will not want the titles of the columns in the benefit map to change. You also would like to classify the initiatives and benefits with the names that belong to this mapping technique. An administrator can change the classifications to match the mapping technique that is selected. New classifications can be created or the names of the existing classifications can be modified.
