Once you are part of an ongoing project, where you have ownership of certain tasks, My Tasks is an interface area that you want to take absolute benefit of. This is one place where you can quickly view all tasks assigned to you.
To access the My tasks page:
Select My Tasks from the Personal Dashboard menu
The table under the tab shows you a listing of all upcoming tasks within the corresponding initiatives. All tasks assigned to you for the current year is displayed by default. Clicking on the name of each task will take you to the respective Gantt chart.
You can filter the Tasks by:
- Filters which allows you to show or hide Baseline data, Dependencies and if Stage Milestones display.
- Initiatives where you can filter for Tasks under Initiatives where you are the Owner. Only Initiatives where you are the Owner shows in this list. By default all Initiatives are selected and all Tasks assigned to you are shown, this includes Tasks that are under Initiatives that you don't own.
- Reporting Groups can be used to filter the Tasks that show when using Program Model.
Please note, for a task to display in your My Tasks tab, it should have your name in the Owner field.
