When you log into Amplify, you will land on the Home page of your Personal Dashboard.
Your personal dashboard is your very own workspace, where you can access all Amplify records that you own or you have access to either view or modify. For example, the projects that your own or are a part of, the impacts, RAID items, tasks or costs that you are allowed to access etc. If you want to land on another page other than your personal dashboard, you can set that page as your home page from the list of your favourite pages.
The Home page allows you to keep track of the upcoming and overdue measurements, pending workflow action requests, project tasks you own, and the teams/programs you are part of. It also displays the pages you set as favourites and links to the pages you recently visited.
Your Personal Dashboard is only populated once you own Initiatives, Benefits or Measures. My Initiatives, My Benefits, My Measures, My RAIDs, and My Tasks tabs display relevant information relating to initiatives, benefits, measures and RAID items you own.

Upcoming or Overdue Measurements
The first section of your Home tab displays the benefits that are upcoming or overdue for measurement.
This section will populate only if the Upcoming Actuals Reminder setting is enabled for the corresponding benefit/impact classification. If this option is configured for the classification and you own the measure, you will see the upcoming measurement and the total overdue measurements a certain number of days before/after the due date. You can enter the value directly in the field given here. The overdue actual for this measure will then disappear from the personal dashboard.
To record an actual:
- Locate the impact/benefit you want to record.
- Enter the value in the text field.
- Click on the Submit button.
Clicking on the impact's name will display the impact's Plan tab, where you can enter the Plan, Actual and Forecast values.
Workflow Approval Notification
The Stage-Gate/Workflow approvals widget is present to give you a quick oversight and management of action items. Workflows awaiting approvals prompt the user to Approve or Reject, in addition to any comments desired. Once again, all of the important metrics are present in the pop-up widget.
My Teams, Favourites and Recently Visited
Few useful widgets are displayed after the notification panes.
- My Teams Widget - If you are part of a Shared Team, your team will also appear on your personal Dashboard.
- Favourites Widget - The dashboard also features a Favourites widget, highlighting initiatives and benefits marked as favourites. Click on the name link to go directly to the page.
- Recently Visited Widget - This widget will display your recent activity. Click on the name link to go directly to the page.
Tip: You can set any of your favourites as your home page. To do this, hover your mouse pointer over the Home column against the desired page in the My Favourites section. A home icon will be revealed. Click on it to set the page as your home page. Once set, you will land on your chosen home page every time you log in. To remove a home page selection, click on the home icon again.
To mark a recently visited page as a favourite, click on the Favorite icon against the page in the Recently Visited widget.
My Programs
If your site uses Amplify's program model configuration, you will see the My Programs section after notifications. My Programs displays all programs that you own. You can directly navigate to the program-specific pages by clicking on the program name.
If you are an administrator or an Amplify Support user, you will see all programs irrespective of whether you are on the team or not.
My Initiatives page
This page displays all projects/initiatives that you own. By default, you'll see the card menu where projects are arranged as cards, by default. You can utilise the action buttons available on this interface to perform different tasks. Read more about card and table views here.
This page allows you to:
- create a new project/initiative
- edit project properties
- archive, restore or delete projects
- access the costs you have permissions to view or update in the cost ledger
My Impacts page
This page displays all impacts (formerly benefits) that you own. Each impact is displayed as a card in this tab. You can utilise the action buttons available on this interface to perform different tasks. Read more about card views here.
On this page, you can:
- create impacts
- record benefit plan, actual and forecast
- modify impact settings
- archive, restore or delete impacts
- use the ledger view to access and update all benefit items you own
My Risks page
This page lists all the RAID items that you own. You can utilise the action buttons available on this interface and each RAID item card to perform different tasks. Read more about card views here.
