There are two role permissions related to Resource Management:
- Resource Demand
- Resource Capacity
Resource Demand
- None: Prevents the user from accessing the resource demand register and creating new resource demand. This permission level will also prevent access to 'Demand' and 'Allocation'.
- Full: Allows the user to access the resource demand register and create new resource demand. The extent of what they can do on the register is dictated by the 'Demand' and 'Allocation' permissions.
Demand
- Read: Allows the user to view resource demand properties and demand.
- Update: Allows the user to edit resource demand properties and demand. This permission is essential to the project manager.
Allocation
- Read: Allows the user to view allocation, but prevents them from allocating or unallocating resources.
- Update: Allows the user to update allocation and add or remove allocated resources. This permission is essential to the resource manager.
Resource Capacity
- None: Prevents the user from accessing planned resource capacity.
- Read: Allows the user to view planned resource capacity.
- Update: Allows the user to edit planned resource capacity.
