The New Impact option, accessible from the quick create menu, enables you to define an Impact (formerly Benefit).
Creating a Simple Impact
- Navigate to the initiative to which you wish to add the impact.
- Click on the + button in the side bar to open the Create menu.
- Select Benefit on the correct level of the hierarchy.
- Fill out the relevant fields in the Create a new Impact form.
- Click Create button to create your new Impact.
Creating an Advanced Impact
- Navigate to the initiative to which you wish to add the impact.
- Click on the + button in the side bar to open the Create menu.
- Select Benefit on the correct level of the hierarchy.
- Fill out the relevant fields in the Create a new Impact form.
- Select which Measures contribute to your Impact
- The Measure Start Date should be on, or before the Benefit Start Date
- The Measure End Date should be on, or after the Benefit End Date
- The Measure Resolution has to be more specific than the Benefit Resolution. For example if the Impact is set to Monthly, the Measure can't be Quarterly or Financial.
- Write your Benefit Formula using the Measure IDs.
- Click Create to create your new Impact.
The saved impact will be listed in the Impacts Register. Clicking on the impact name will open the Impacts Dashboard.
