If a benefit is no longer valid, you can archive it. Archiving is the first step to deleting the benefit. It is important to remember that when archiving a benefit, measures directly linked to this benefit will be archived as well. In addition, the connections this benefit has on the benefits map will be deleted and cannot be restored.

Archive a Benefit
Archiving can be done using two different areas of the interface.
To archive a benefit from the Card View:
- Locate the benefit
- Click on the bin icon.
- In the confirmation dialogue that displays, click Archive.
To archive a benefit from the benefit dashboard:
- Open the benefit dashboard.
- Access the hamburger menu on the right.
You will see the Archive option in the menu.
- In the confirmation dialogue that displays, click Archive.
You have now archived the benefit. It will no longer be visible by default in the card or table view. You'll need to set specific filter criteria to be able to view archived benefits.
Restore an Archived Benefit
When you restore an archived benefit, Amplify recalculates the values in the background and displays it on all affected dashboards. The benefit starts displaying in the card view.
To restore an archived benefit:
- Navigate to the card view of the initiative where the benefit is defined.
- Click on the View Archive filter.
This will show all the Benefits that have been archived.
- Locate the benefits card that you want to restore.
- Click on the Restore button and confirm the transaction.
The Restore and Delete buttons are only available if the Benefit itself was archived. It will not be available if the benefit is archived because its parent was archived.
You have now restored the benefit.
Delete a Benefit
You can delete an archived benefit. It will permanently delete the benefit profile and all its data from the system.
When restoring or permanently deleting a benefit, its direct measures will be restored or permanently deleted as well.
To delete a benefit:
- Navigate to the card view of the initiative where the benefit is defined.
- Click on the View Archive filter.
This will show all the Benefits that have been archived. - Locate the benefits card that you want to restore.
- Click on the Delete button and confirm the transaction.
You have now removed the benefit from the system.
