Required Documents for Stage Approval

For each stage, a user can now be required to attach a supporting document for review before approval. This option can be made mandatory before an approval request can be made, forcing the user to upload at least one document to the stage.

Configuration

To force document attachments before approval:

1. Navigate to the Administration page
2. Click on the Stage Gate Process menu item
3. Select the Stage Gate Process you want to add the option to
4. Click on the checkbox 'Supporting documents are required' under the desired Stage
   
5. Click Save

The checkbox will only be available if Enable Supporting Documents is enabled.

Once the option has been enabled, the Stage Gate Process widget will display a Required label on the supporting documents section.

If a user tries to request approval without attaching a supporting document, the section will be highlighted in red.
