Features
Let AI assistants create and update initiatives (Beta)
You can now let a connected AI assistant, such as Claude, create and update initiatives for you, so you can act on Amplify data without leaving the conversation. Every change is made as you, follows your existing permissions, and is marked as coming from an AI assistant.
Note Each person approves write access when they connect their assistant. Anyone who has already connected an assistant needs to reconnect once after the upgrade.
This feature needs to be enabled for your organization. Speak to your Customer Success Manager to have it enabled in your sandbox for testing.
Add reference data to select field options
As an administrator, you can now attach reference values to each option of a select field, such as a region or contact for each site, so those details travel with the selection instead of being retyped. When someone picks an option, its values fill in as read-only fields on the Initiative Workbook, status reports, create forms, item pages and registers.
Customize brand colors on the new Theme page
You can now set your organization's brand colors on the new Theme page in Administration, with 15 editable colors, so Amplify reflects your brand. Status colors and data series colors, such as Plan, Forecast and Actual, are now separate, so charts and status indicators no longer change together.
Note Access to the Theme page is controlled by a role permission, and existing branding carries over. The Create button now uses your primary brand color, text inputs no longer show a colored focus glow, and the theme dropdown has been removed from System Settings.
Restrict team roles to eligible users
You can now set a team role to Eligible Users Only and choose each user's Eligible Roles, so sensitive roles only go to the people allowed to hold them, wherever roles are assigned. Existing roles stay Available to All, so nothing changes until an administrator sets this up.
For more detail, see Teams & Roles.
Manage custom fields through the API
Your integrations can now read and update custom fields through the v2 Custom Fields API, so your other systems stay in step with Amplify without changes being retyped by hand. Each call either saves fully or not at all, and a dry run lets you preview the effect first.
Note In this release, reading field details is available for select fields. Other field types and linked select fields follow in later releases.
Enhancements
Choose values and variance in the Totals widget
As an administrator, you can now choose which values a Totals widget on the Initiative Workbook shows, from Plan or Budget, Forecast, Variance and Actual, so each stage shows only the figures that matter. You can also choose what Variance compares: Plan vs Actual, Plan vs Forecast, or Forecast vs Actual.
Note Existing Totals widgets now compare Forecast vs Actual by default, instead of Forecast minus Plan, and their label and tooltip change to match. You can restore the previous comparison on each widget.
